Great Job Project Teams!

Congratulations to the 638 K-12 project teams selected to advance to Level 2 at the 2022 STLP Regionals in November and December. These teams will give their Level 2 presentation to judges live and in person at Central Bank Center/Rupp Arena on April 19, 2023. What are the next steps for Level 2 Project teams?

What Now?

Congrats on advancing! Here’s where to focus over the coming months:

  • Continue to deploy your project. Level 1 was about the ideas behind your project…so Level 2 will be about sharing how your project is turning out.
  • Each team will need to register to indicate intent to participate before the March deadline. In the meantime, each team should continue developing their project, building their in-person presentation and thinking about their presentation display space.
  • Utilize the Project Toolkit to become familiar with the Level 2 and Level 3 rubrics.
  • Start with the positive expectation that your project will advance from Level 2 up to Level 3. As such, build your transportation plans to attend the full day of STLP State on April 19th, including the afternoon award show. If your team makes it to Level 3, you are guaranteed a spot on stage and will receive an award. Each Level 3 team has a real shot at being named a 2023 STLP State Champion Project. Don’t miss the celebration!
