Project Registration Deadline is Tonight!
Fast reminder that tonight, November 20th, is the deadline to submit Level 1 Project teams and reserve your presentation spots for the December 6thSTLP Regionals. Everyone has until midnight tonight to sign up at https://stlp.education.ky.gov/regionals
If you’ve already signed your teams up for Regionals, thank you! You can still edit your entries throughout the day as needed. Watch your email for additional details about the December 6th event to arrive after you return from Thanksgiving break.
Judges Are Very Important… and We Need You
By now, everyone realizes that providing a person to represent your school as a Level 1 Project Judge is the “cost of admission” for STLP competitions. Being an STLP Judge is a rewarding way to remember the value of what we’re doing as educators and an inspiring way to connect with students.
We can always use more STLP Judges to help make Regionals speedier and more balanced by including many different perspectives. That’s why we’d love to see CIO/DTCs, DLCs, LMS, Principals, and other Administrators have an opportunity to experience the “why” behind STLP by dedicating the morning (and early afternoon as needed) on December 6th to hearing student presentations. Also, adding judges that won’t require a sub to cover a class greatly helps alleviate some of the burden on STLP Coaches who will juggle supporting their STLP and regular classes during Regionals.
