STLP rubrics and resources are built upon the Kentucky Academic Standards for Technology. For example, a quick look at the STLP Project Toolkit and you’ll notice the Level’s 1-2-3 rubrics are directly correlated to each of the KAS Technology concepts.
The STLP+KAS Technology posters are presented as “I am…” statements to help students tie their STLP activities in a meaningful way to the standards. As an educator, using the STLP activities for your classroom will give you the peace of mind to know that you’re introducing students to a path towards mastery of the KAS for Tech.
Students can collect their STLP projects and digital products as artifacts to support their Kentucky minimum graduation requirement of demonstrating technology competency. As of 2021, the KAS for Technology are required to be taught K-12. Let STLP and these posters help guide learning.
